Last January our Young Women's President issued a challenge to all of the girls to read Jesus The Christ by May 1. Since Makenzee is going into YW's this year, she took the challenge and last week while we were on vacation in California, she finished reading it! She said she loved learning about what all of the parables meant but here very favorite part was reading about when Jesus hung on the cross and died for her. When He said, "It is finished" and bowed His head and gave up His life, tears ran down her cheeks.
