Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam

Brynlee advanced from Nursery to Primary today and is now a Sunbeam. She was so excited and walked all the way to class with her arms folded. She loved sitting in Sharing Time singing songs and looking back and waving to Kambree. She thought it was awesome to go to her own classroom to learn a primary lesson. They learned about Choosing The Right and she got to cut out and color a CTR crown and proudly wore it home.

Brynlee was pretending like she was talking to Kiana on the phone and she said, "Don't you think brothers are boring, well, except Jonah, he's not boring!"

When I Love You Isn't Enough

Carpool came to pick Brynlee up for Preschool and she gave me a kiss goodbye and said, "Bye Mom! I love your Mommy guts!"

Bryn: Wait Kam! How old was Mom?

Kam: She was 85! Then I was coloring a beautiful picture on sticky paper and...

Bryn: What's sticky paper?

Kam: AHHHH! STOP INTERRUPTING ME!

Bryn: Kam, I hate you!

Kam: MOM!!! Bryn said the "H word". You know, the one that says, hhhhhhhhh!

Bryn: No I didn't, Kam's lying!

Kam: No Bryn, you're lying and I'm never coloring with you again!

Then the out of control crying/screaming began and we were off to church!

Fashionista

"Mama, I don't really know what outfit that's cute I'm gonna wear today, so is it OK if I just go look in my closet for awhile?"

Enjoying Nature

We were walking out to the car and Brynlee said, "Kambree doesn't like bees but we like bees cuz bees give us honey, huh Mom?"

Picky Picky

I picked Brynlee up from school and I asked her how her day was and she said it was good. I asked her if she likes her teachers and she said, "No. Well yes, but they don't wear headbands or flowers in their hair!"

Learning To Forgive

Brynlee came home from preschool and said, "A boy in my class, Tayden, he stepped on my clothes and he said sorry! I said it is not OK Tayden and he said I don't like you anymore!"

Brynlee Starts Preschool

Brynlee started her first day of preschool today and loved it!

She was so excited to be in a carpool like Kambree and her friends. She wasn't nervous at all and walked right into her class and never looked back!

She already knows how to spell Bryn and write the letter B. "First you draw a line. Then you draw a circle and another circle!"

After school I asked her what she learned and she said, "I learned about two songs. The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round and I'm Going On A Bear Hunt. Then we played a game. Then we had a snack. They were circle cookies with frosting and sprinkles. Oh, then we laid on the floor and a boy kicked a girl but it wasn't me. Then he had to go to time out." I told her it sounded like a fun day and when I asked her if she wanted to go again she said, "Of course!"

Being Modest

Brynlee and her little friends were playing in the toy room and decided they wanted to go outside. I told Bryn she had to go upstairs and change first and she said, "OK, but Kiana cannot go with me or she'll see my boobs!"

She Finds Joy In Everything She Does

I never want to forget Brynlee running around and around and around the swing set all by herself, laughing and giggling and truly enjoying life!

A Little Observation

                                                    

We were driving home from a birthday party and Brynlee's soft little voice from the back seat said, "Mama, why is the moon following us?"

Back To School Breakfast

 

 

The girls invited their friends over for a fun back to school breakfast! The pancakes were so easy! I just poured the pancake batter into a sandwich bag and cut a small hole in the corner. Every kid got their name spelled out in pancakes. I also put a drop of melted white chocolate on two pretzel sticks and stuck an M&M in the center for the yummiest bacon and eggs they've ever had!

My Own Friends

Brynlee's friends have always been Kambree's friends until this summer! It's so cute to hear her wake up first thing in the morning and say, "Mom, can I call a friend?"

In Her Opinion

I told Brynlee that I loved her and she asked me if I loved Jonah and Makenzee too. I told her yes, and that I loved Kambree and Daddy too. Then she asked me if I loved Jesus and Heavenly Father and I told her yes. "Well do you love Satan too?" I told her that I did not love Satan. She said, "Well Kambree loves Satan!" I told her that Kambree did not love Satan either! She said, "Yes she does cuz Kambree's mean like Satan! Remember, she's crabby when she wakes up and she's always grumpy, so she does love Satan!"

Middle Of The Night Manipulation

Brynlee tapped me on the arm at 3 o'clock in the morning and in the sweetest, most cheerful voice said, "Mama, on Friday, I mean on Monday, I was in your bafroom and a earwig bit my tummy! So can I just sleep with you?"

I Love Curls

 

Brynlee brought me a basket of sponge curlers and said, "Can you please curl my hair so I can be a Princess today, pleeeeeze!"

Tender Moments

Kambree and Brynlee were sitting at the table coloring and Brynlee said, "Oh, Jonah's so cute. I think I'm just gonna marry him!" Kambree said, "No, you can't marry him!" Brynlee said, "Yes I can, Kam!" Kambree said, "Brynlee, you cannot marry Jonah!" Brynlee said, "Oh ya, cuz I'm gonna marry Dad!"
