Makenzee has been wishing and hoping and praying for braces for as long as I can remember and today she finally had her first orthodontist appointment! You would have thought it was her birthday, she was so giddy and excited! They took xrays and pictures and examined her mouth. He talked to her pretty firmly about how important it is for her to brush her teeth and then he told her what she'd been waiting to hear..."You need braces!" She practically did a cartwheel out of the chair!
