Every year the 6th graders have an Invention Convention. They set up their inventions in the gym and invite the entire school and all of the parents to come and see how they work. Makenzee invented the "Bottle Buddy!" It's a clever way to get little babies to hold their own bottles so sisters, I mean, other family members, don't have to! She took a baby sock and sewed velcro around it and then slid it over the bottle. She put little mittens on Jonah's hands and gave him the bottle to test it out. Worked perfect! She also tested it on our neighbor's 3month old baby and the Mom loved it so much, she asked Makenzee if she would make her one! Makenzee's teacher at school is having a baby in May and after she saw the invention, asked Makenzee to make one for her too!
